Tim Roth Talks About Lie to Me
Tim Roth is an incredible actor and the show Lie to Me is more interesting because of his wonderful character. But have you wondered what he really thinks about studying the expressions of others? This clip gives some of his views on the subject.
He tells that he tries to learn as little as possible about seeing what others are thinking. But he says that he does love looking at politicians' expressions with extra insight. Roth also goes on to tell about the other characters on the show and what we might expect to develop in season 2:
Spoiler for The Good Wife
The more I hear about the new series The Good Wife, the more I'm looking forward to its premiere. This spoiler from TV Guide tells us about the characters and a bit about what will set this show apart from others with similar premises.
Please give me some scoop on the new CBS show The Good Wife. — Karen
MATT: My advice to those anticipating this new drama? Don't let yourself get bogged down by the Canterbury's Law comparisons. Yes, Julianna Margulies is again playing a lawyer, but this show is a totally different animal, one filled with really nice tugs of the heartstrings. On top of that, the ensemble is sweet, from Chris Noth (as the good wife's imprisoned husband) to Titus Welliver (Deadwood, Lost), who has been promoted to recurring status as the political animal who replaces Noth as state's attorney. Fringe Season 2 Spoiler - What About Astrid?
Fringe is one of those dark, and oddly fascinating dramas that once it gets your interest, it won't let you go. I find myself thinking about the strange, yet likable characters even after the show is over. So it was great to start to see some spoilers emerge for it.
The new season of Fringe will premiere on FOX on Thursday, September 17 at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT. Here's a bit of a spoiler from TV Guide about season 2:
Please tell me we'll see more of Jasika Nicole on Fringe this season. — Ryan
MICKEY: Telling people what they want to hear (even when it isn't true) hasn't ever really served me well. Just ask my mom... and my shrink... and my parole officer. They know. So I can't say that Astrid will be "crossing over" to bigger storylines in Season 2. And while the addition of a female FBI agent would appear not to bode well for Astrid, I'm told that she'll continue to play an important role on the Bishop-Dunham-Bishop World-Saving & Intramural Softball Team. Southland Season 2 Spoiler

If you are like me, you became a fan of the NBC cop drama Southland this spring. It's gritty, the characters seem real and likable and the stories are interesting. I'm very happy that the show will be returning this fall. And to get fans of the show ready for the fall, here's a spoiler from TV Guide:
I became a fan of Southland during its short run on NBC last season. Do you have anything on what we can expect in Season 2? Will we get more insight into Officer Sherman's relationship (or lack thereof) with his father? — Jocelyn
TIM: Southland's writers baited very beautiful little traps to draw us back each week, and Ben's backstory is among the most alluring. We'll definitely find out more about the dynamic he shares with his big-shot defense lawyer dad, as well as whether Det. Clarke survived that out-of-nowhere shooting. I'd follow this show to hell — or even to Friday night, as the case may be. [Source: TV Guide]
The Good Wife Preview
CBS has a new drama that will premiere on September 22nd and it looks like it may have all the makings of a hit. The series, The Good Wife stars ER veteran Julianna Margulies in a show about the wife of a corrupt politician who has to return to practicing law after her husband is jailed.
This is a very relevant story line these days since it seems like we see another political figure resign in disgrace very week as their long-suffering spouse stands next to them while they admit their shame. Margulies is a wonderful actress and if the writing is good, this will surely be a hit with her at the helm. Here's the preview clip for the series:
CBS Welcomes Medium to Friday Nights
CBS held a celebratory press event to welcome the TV drama Medium to their Friday night lineup. NBC made what some consider a very brave move when they decided to make the Jay Leno Show a 10:00 pm ET weeknight show on Monday-Friday each week. It means that they are counting more more people to watch the early version of the Tonight Show every evening instead of TV dramas. I personally think it was a bad move, since I don't even like to watch Jay Leno, but that's just me. ;-)
Instead, the 10:00 dramas have either been canceled or have moved to other networks. I am thrilled that Medium will stay on the air and will follow it to CBS. Watch for show updates on this site. Here's a clip of Medium's announcement:
